BIOLOGY

To get involved in Biology research, it is best to start here or with your professors. It is custom to e-mail 10-15 people when searching for a research position. Many labs aren't looking for undergraduates, so don't be afraid of rejection. Make sure to include something you like about their research in the e-mail you send. If offered an interview, become familiar with a couple of their published papers.

If you are already involved in Biology research but are interested in a fellowship or award to fund your research, there are many opportunities available:
  • The Norman H. Horowitz Fellowship
  • The Samuel D. Colella Award
  • Mentor/Mentee Summer Fellowship Program
  • EXROP (Research at another University)
